Season 3, Episode 9 – Bob "the Wine Guy" Souza comes into the TehachaPod studio and shares his memories on how the Tehachapi wine industry got its start. He and wife Patty had the idea to plant grapes in 2001 and five years later they were bottling award winning wines. Bob tells a few stories about challenges they faced, the constant "no you can't do that" and how they succeeded and laid the groundwork for six more Tehachapi wineries.

Season 3, Episode 8 – Discover Tehachapi Wine Tours owner Chris Scotti gives us a guided tour of the new business. He and wife Clare Scotti have created a wine experience for both locals and visitors for our local wineries. They have experience in the travel journalism industry and took their passion and energy and created Discover Tehachapi. Chris tells their story on TehachaPod.

Season 3, Episode 7 – We talk about our roads and how they are maintained by our Public Works Department in the City of Tehachapi. Don Marsh, Public Works Director explains how his department has examined all city roads and has put together an extensive plan for maintenance, rehabilitation, and replacement work in the coming years. Don talks about how his department works closely with other departments and agencies to put projects together.

Season 3, Episode 6 – TehachaPod dives into grants and how they work. Denise Montes and Andrew Norton join the TehachaPod crew to talk about the grant process from application to project competition.

We talk about specific uses for grants and how money that is awarded in a grant is not given to the City of Tehachapi until the projects have been completed. We also discuss the auditing process that occurs and how strict the rules are as to what type of project can be done.

Season 3, Episode 5 – Andi Hicks from the Tehachapi Community Theatre stops by the TehachaPod studio to talk about opportunities for the community to participate in the upcoming play season. Andi says you don't have to be an actor or to participate, T.C.T. could use help behind the scenes as well as on stage.

Hicks shares what the experience is like to be part of a community theater group. She talks about the upcoming planned shows, open auditions and how to get tickets. T.C.T. utilizes the BeeKay Theatre on Green Street for their performances and encourages all to try and attend an event.
