With 34 years in business, the hub and administration of the Stockdale Tile and Flooring Center stores is still located on District Blvd. in Bakersfield. However, the day to day operation of the Tehachapi Stockdale Tile and Flooring Center is managed through two lovely local young ladies, Brooke Lutge and Summer Chapman.

Brooke is the daughter of the owner of the Stockdale Tile and Flooring Centers, Tony Marion, and his wife, Lori. She currently manages the Tehachapi store. She was born and raised in Bakersfield, attending local schools and comes from a family of three children. After a year at Bakersfield College, she moved for a time to San Luis Obispo to attend a cosmetology school, studying to be an esthetician. Until the COVID pandemic hit in 2020, she had commuted for nine years to Bakersfield working in the esthetics field and then worked an additional two years at The Blushed Co. Beauty Lounge in Tehachapi before that business was temporarily closed as non-essential. In September of 2020, the Marions opened their Tehachapi Stockdale Tile store, at which time Brooke was hired as the store manager.

Brooke is also raising a growing family, having married a local Tehachapi boy, Cody Lutge, in 2016. The couple has three girls, Tatum, Leighton and the most recent addition, Gracyn, who was born in October 2021. The managerial position at the family run business has allowed Brooke a measure of flexibility which has helped enormously with keeping up with the demands of her young family, which includes homeschooling.

Summer Chapman is the most recent addition to the Tehachapi Stockdale Tile family. Summer was born at Mercy Southwest Hospital in Bakersfield and has been raised and lived in Tehachapi her entire life. She has four siblings, three brothers and one sister. She played team sports such as softball, basketball and volleyball for several years as a child and teenager. She has since "retired" from team sports in high school. After graduating from Tehachapi High School, Summer attended Bakersfield College where she earned an associates degree in Science. Summer's family has lived in Tehachapi since 1997. Her father, John Chapman, owned a tile installation business from 1998 until retirement in 2008. After a short stint working at Tractor Supply, Summer joined the Stockdale Tile family in September 2021.

Both Brooke and Summer are extremely motivated to help with any and all of their customers' needs, including design aspects. As design consultants, Brooke and Summer can assist customers deciding on style and design as well as picking out color, texture, appropriate products and budget management.
