THS Swim Team
The THS Girls Swim Team brought home a Second Place trophy from CIF D-2 with only six girls on the team.
There were 27 teams that came from the Central Coast and Central California. The top individual girl swimmer for Tehachapi in CIF was Alaina Riggs placing Second in the 200-yard Freestyle and Second in the 500-yard Freestyle.
The following girls placed in CIF finals: Olivia Ringle Fourth 200-yard IM and Sixth 100-yard Backstroke, Hannah Regan Sixth 50-yard Freestyle and Sixth 100-yard Freestyle, Regan Rodriguez Sixth 100-yard Breaststroke and 14th 100-yard Butterfly, Davery Pogon-Cord Third 100-yard Backstroke and 12th 100-yard Freestyle and Sarah Daverin 11th 100-yard Breaststroke.
The mighty swim girls won the 400-yard Freestyle Relay bringing home the gold were Hannah Regan, Olivia Ringle, Davery Pogon-Cord and Alaina Riggs. Also placing Fourth in the 200-yard Medley Relay were Regan Rodriguez, Davery Pagon-Cord, Hannah Regan and Olivia Ringle.
The boys swim team worked very hard this season and came up in Ninth place in CIF. The top boy swimmer for Tehachapi in CIF was Bryce Rodriguez placing Third in the 100 Butterfly and Third in the 100 Backstroke. The following boys placed in the CIF finals: Tyler Regan Seventh 500 yard Freestyle and Eighth 50-yard Freestyle and Carter Yeomans fifth 100-yard Backstroke and Eighth 100-yard Freestyle. The forever strong boys swim team placed Fifth in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay were Carter Yeomans, Miguel Camarena, Bryce Rodriguez and Tyler Regan. Also placing Ninth in the 200-yard Medley Relay were Carter Yeomans, Steven Ringle, Bryce Rodriguez and Tyler Regan.
The THS Swim Team and parents want to formally thank Coach Leanna Delgadillo and Heather Ringle for their hard work and dedication to the team.
