Planning for the highly anticipated community fundraiser, Cheers to Charity (C2C), is running full speed ahead. Sponsors are in place; Aviator Park has been reserved; beer is being brewed; food has been ordered; and the wine list is impressive! "More tickets have been sold online, by this date, than ever before. We know that the Tehachapi community is ready for a 'fun'draising night on the town," said Social Media coordinator Becca Dillenbeck.

The C2C team is ready to make Cheers to Charity 2021 better than ever. While there are still some COVID-19 hurdles to overcome, they are confident that the requirements for an in-person event are doable. Per Health Department regulations, COVID controls will be followed.

Cheers to Charity is an outdoor food, wine and beer fundraising event. 2021 marks the seventh year. "We work hard to bring great food, amazing wines, expertly crafted beer and loads more to Tehachapi – for an amazing night on the town. The best thing is, that while we are having fun, we are raising money for local nonprofit organizations," said Cheers committee member Linda Carhart.

Planned for Aviator Park, the committee is already working on partners for wine, beer, food and home brew. "As the only Kern County event with a built-in Home Brew Competition, Cheers is happy to feature this unique offering," said Michael Dillenbeck, the Home Brew Organizer for the event.

Cheers to Charity not only supports area nonprofits, but the event also utilizes local restaurants, wineries, breweries, coffee shops and printers to make the magic happen! Bolstered by local business sponsors, the group has already poured more than $250,000 back into the community.

This year's sponsors include: BHE Renewables, Advantage Real Estate, Terra Gen Operating Company, Brookfield Renewables, Gubiotti Foundation, Supervisor Zack Scrivner, WWS, Bank of the Sierra, 8-Minute Solar, Sage Ranch, Alta One Federal Credit Union, Mike & Lara Berard, Bruce & Chris Zigtema, Valley Strong Credit Union, The Tehachapi Apple Festival and The Loop newspaper.

Tickets are available online at http://www.eventbrite.com at early bird prices until May 31. Ticket prices increase June 1, 2021. A limited number of printed General Admission tickets will be available for sale at that time. Early bird tickets are online only. As of early May, early bird VIP tickets were almost sold out.

The C2C team is ramping up the planning to make the Cheers to Charity event better than ever. They cannot wait to welcome guests back. Tickets are available now, so get them online at http://www.eventbrite.com.

Cheers to Charity – Tehachapi's best party with a purpose!
