Chief Marketing Officer Michael George to leave Valley Strong

Michael George, Valley Strong Credit Union's Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, has announced his departure, effective Oct. 23. He plans to remain in the area and is expected to join another local company.

George, who has been with the credit union for more than 25 years, led the organization's transition to a state charter and subsequent name change earlier this year.

Valley Strong Credit Union operates 12 branches, including two in Tulare County, serving more than 150,000 Members, with more than $2.1 billion in assets. It remains the largest financial institution headquartered in Kern County.
