Local Farmers office wins exclusive award for 22nd Year!

In this age of COVID, companies have had to adapt and change to keep up with new regulations and rules regarding how to do business. Fortunately, at Marty Pay Farmers Insurance they've been able to service and help their customers even though the office doors have been closed with everyone here available to answer phones and take payments. Because of that, the office has qualified for the 22nd time as a Toppers Club award winner! The award is based on certain criteria in sales and service in different types of insurance.
I attribute it to the best staff I've had in 40 years with Farmers! Ginger Patz, the office manager, has been with the company for over 16 years and now writes Commercial Insurance as well as Auto and Home. Amber Patz writes not only Farmers Home and Auto but other homeowners carriers for hard-to-write risks in the mountain areas. She's proud to say there isn't anyone we can't help! Dottie Magill has only been with the local office a year but she's had her own Farmers office in Lancaster years ago and knows the Farmers system. The newest addition, Lisa Bias, will be licensed this month and she's ready to hit the ground running.
The office also has three other personnel involved in different aspects of the business. Sue Wonacott handles the constantly changing Medical Insurance for their clients including Medicare supplements. John McKeehan and Steve Miles do some marketing for the agency specializing in Home and Commercial.
Marty, with 48 years in insurance, has a variety of roles in the agency. Other than helping where needed he specializes in the Life insurance and Commercial ends of the business. He is also a Certified Life Underwriter which makes him a Financial Planner. Since he also teaches Finance at a local university, this is a fun aspect of the business for him.
They are not sure what the trip will be in this age of COVID but hopefully there is a trip in everyone in the office's future. Marty Pay Farmers Insurance is at 212 West F St., across the parking lot from Bank of the Sierra downtown.
