Cheers to Charity, an absolutely "fun" fundraiser, is still in the works. Dedicated volunteers are working hard to deliver an extraordinary evening of great foods, fine wines, craft and home brewed beers, vibrant music and dancing, really cool nonalcoholic concoctions and much more.

Currently, the event is planned for Aug. 8, at Aviator Park in Tehachapi. Cheers to Charity was established as a nonprofit in 2014 with a mission to financially improve small, charitable organizations, as they work to make a visible difference in the greater Tehachapi area.

"This year will be extra important, given the impact of COVID-19. We recognize that many organizations may need our support," said Cheers President Mary Beth Garrison.

As of now, the Cheers team has not made a decision as to which nonprofits will receive the event's funds.

"We want to have the greatest impact for the community, and we know that as we emerge from sheltering-at-home, it will become evident where we should give the money," said Garrison.

This annual community event elevates our mountain hospitality, as the team takes great care to ensure that sponsors, volunteers and guests feel welcome and appreciated. To learn more, check out event details at http://www.cheerstocharity.net.

Note: Should COVID-19 disrupt the safe execution of the event on Aug. 8, it will be rescheduled for a Saturday in the fall or in 2021.
