Lions honor Veteran

The Tehachapi Lions Club honored WWII Veteran and fellow Lion, Blas Hernandez, at their 2nd Backyard Summer Meeting on July 16th pictured with Club President Suzanne Williams. Blas has the distinct privilege of joining Honor Flight of Kern County for their WWII Veteran Flight in the Fall. Blas was a coxswain in the U.S. Navy on the USS Amsterdam and was being prepared for the invasion of Japan. The Lions thank Blas for his service and look forward to his upcoming adventure.
