What's up in Stallion Springs?

The Stallion Springs CSD will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday May 30 at

9 a.m. at the Community Center.

Here’s your chance to get involved.

Topics will include:

The State of California requirement to reduce water usage by 25%. Join the discussion on how this will affect our use of potable water. Find out what our water availability is in Stallion Springs and what will be available in the future. Find out what you can do to conserve water.

The district needs your input and support to meet our conservation goals.

Discussions will also be held on the proposed 2016 and 2017 budget, police services, park projects and other district operations. If you have any questions contact the CSD at 661-822-3268.

Fitness Class Concerns

At a Special Board Meeting on April 21, a group of fitness class members attended and during the public comment portion of the meeting expressed concern over the proposed increase in rates for classes and reduction in instructors pay. The board was unable to respond at the time as it was not an agenda item. Since that time the group and the CSD have come to an agreement to keep things the way they are for now, except the class fees were raised by five dollars.

Police report

The Stallion Springs Police for April reported 6 arrests, 28 citations, 145 reports, and 123 calls for service. There were also 6 call outs, 57 want and warrant checks, 203 officer initiated investigations, 31 field interviews, 2 impounds, and 1 medical assist.
