Kern County Fire Dept. hosting Wildfire Awareness Expos

In the coming months in Tehachapi, Kernville and Frazier Park, Wildfire Awareness Expos will be held. These community events are suited to the communities in wildfire prone areas to provide the residents with valuable information on wildfire awareness, hazard reduction guidelines and emergency preparedness.

Additional community organizations such as Marley’s Mutts, the American Red Cross, local area CERT teams, local Fire Safe Councils, Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Tehachapi Humane Society and Kern County Animal Services will be in attendance to provide information to the community.
