Learn to photograph desert wildflowers in the Mojave with Eastern Sierras landscape photographer and local guide, Cheryl McDonald, the weekend of April 10-12, 2015.
The winter weather for 2015 in the Mojave Desert is creating a lot of excitement for wildflower enthusiasts. Already the high desert is green and flowers are beginning to bloom. As we are continuing to have rain in the desert and snow at the higher elevations, the forecast is good for an extended display of flowers, with some that have been dormant for several years.
I will be hosting an in-depth photography workshop which will include focused attention on taking spectacular photographs and how to process them to a small organized group for the entire weekend of April 10-12, 2015 in Ridgecrest, CA based at the Hampton Inn. Included in the workshop will be two evening receptions discussing photography as art and how-to’s on using some of the current software available to add more creative interest to your photos. Plus two days of shooting in the best local locations with me as your guide and teacher on techniques for capturing the best photos possible.
There will also be several other local events going on through the Maturango Museum, also in Ridgecrest, with more information available at their website http://www.maturango.org.
