Don’t want to cook that Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner? For just $10 you can enjoy a celebration for St. Patrick’s Day at the Tehachapi SENIOR CENTER.
There will be vegetables, coffee and dessert plus entertainment and the popular 50/50 on Friday night, March 20. Reservations are recommended by listing on the signup form in the Center lobby and paying or calling 822-5412 at least a day prior to the dinner date.
Doors open at 4pm with dinner service at 5pm. Membership is not required and diners of all ages are welcome.
In other news, the large, walk-in cooler located next to the kitchen is for sale. “We want to turn that space into more storage to meet our growing needs,” stated TSC President Lewis Brown. Interested parties may contact him at the Center to see the unit and submit bids. The unit must be moved by the buyer.
The Senior Center is located just a block off East Tehachapi Blvd. at 500 East F St. at the corner of South Hayes.
