On Saturday, September 20th, members of the California City Lions Club presented a check to CCPD Officer Ryan Hodge to purchase a trunk kit for the new K-9. The donations were made by individual Lions club members. After the photo op, the Lions club completed their California City Blvd safety improvement project. They painted the backs of signs between Yerba and Highway 14 to remove troublesome reflectivity that created some problems for commuters in the early morning and late afternoon hours.
