"New" facilities with the same old problems: The tennis courts at THS are riddled with cracks and weeds, so much so coaches have had to bring their own lawn and garden equipment to pull them. Meanwhile, so many teams have complained about the surface and holes that the Kern County Tennis Association and Bakersfield College have reached out to assist the program due to unsafe conditions.
