  • TMTA donates bicycle service station

    Tehachapi Mountain Trail Association has donated a bicycle pump and service station to the City. It has been placed on Curry Street next to Freedom Plaza and the Tehachapi Visitor Center. Tools are attached to the unit and may be used for bicycle repairs. There is a QR Code on the unit that a rider can use to access instructions for making repairs they may not know how to make.     California Secretary of State candidate Mark Meuser's statewide campaign bicycle tour stopped in Tehachapi on Aug. 2. He held a rally in Railroad Park on Tehachapi Blvd. Meuser's statewide bicycle tour traverses 5,000-miles and includes 100 rallies in all of California's 58 counties, starting in Martinez and concluding in Huntington Beach on Aug. 23.
