The Tehachapi Railroad Depot and Museum under the direction of the Friends of the Tehachapi Depot (FOTD), celebrates its fifth year of successful operation this month. With yearly attendance figures steadily increasing the all volunteer staff could see upwards of ten thousand visitors this year. With some 60 guests and visitors in attendance the ceremonial cake is about to be cut and served by FOTD Board Member Keith Sackewitz, Board Member Sheryl Bovi, Board Advisor Tim Trujillo, Tehachapi City Manager Greg Garrett, Tehachapi City Council member Kim Nixon, and FOTD President Don Stephens.
