On Aug. 1, the Tehachapi Guild voted to approve up to $22,000 for the purchase of a STA Satellite System for Adventist Health Hospital. This STA System offers complete automation and delivers a powerful, reliable analyzer. The system enables Health Networks to standardize patient testing results. On Sept. 12, Adventist Health Laboratory presented a plaque thanking the Guild for allowing the purchase of this state of the art machine. It is time saving and currently being used daily by the Adventist Health laboratory. The Satellite provides the only hemostasis solution for low-volume and satellite laboratories.
