Gallery N’ Gifts will be hosting a Witch’s Hat decorating contest with hats on display during the month of October. This contest is free to the public and all are welcome. Dressing up for our First Friday event on Oct. 4 is encouraged.

Hats must be dropped off at Gallery ‘N’ Gifts by Monday, Sept. 30, during normal business hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Witch’s Hats can be supplied by participants or through Gallery ‘N’ Gifts while supplies last. $3 for small hats and $5 for large hats. Hats can be created individually or collaboratively.

Prizes will be awarded for the Scariest, Funniest and Most Beautiful hat, with the public voting on their favorites. Voting will begin at Gallery ‘N’ Gifts First Friday event, Friday, Oct. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. Voting will continue both online and in the store through the month of October, ending Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded during Gallery ‘N’ Gifts’ November First Friday event, Friday, Nov. 1 between 5 to 8 p.m. Hat submissions can also be picked up at that time, or during the following week at the gallery. Children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat one last time.
