Brass added much richness to the afternoon's selections.
On Sept. 22 the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. David Newby, played a program consisting of Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man and Dvořák's New World Symphony.

A twin fiddle passage with guest artist Jana Jae and First Violinist/fiddle player Gayel Pitchford. Jae had been a judge at the 44th annual Fiddle Contest the day before. She played a combination of classical violin and old time fiddle music.
