Prior to the start of the ceremony, members of the Ledesma family of Tehachapi arrived to lay a wreath and pay respects to their family member retired Army veteran, Blas "Tony" Ledesma. His son Oscar, daughter-in-law Alma, and granddaughter Scarlett, remember with pride his service to his country. "My father-in-law loved his Mexican music," said daughter-in-law Alma. "Each visit I record some on my cell phone and play it for awhile atop his headstone." In a moment of respectful silence the Ledesman family stands remembering.
