Anglers were treated to a springtime carpet of color at the 2019 Brite Lake Fishing Derby.
Join the Brite Lake Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 20, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brite Lake, 22902 Banducci Rd.
Register online at http://www.tvrpd.org/events/fishing-derby until Thursday, May 18.
After that date, you can register at the lake on May 19 during Friday's check-in time from 3:30 to 6 p.m. and also on the day of the derby for day-of prices.
Cost:
Pre-event Registration:
$25 Adults (age 16+)
$20 Children (age 15 and younger)
$80 Family of 4 (up to 6 people)*
*Each additional family member +$5 (all members must live in same household).
Day of event Registration:
$35 Adults (age 16+)
$30 Children (age 15 and younger) –
$5 discount will still apply for multiple children.
Shirts are not guaranteed with day of registration.
Boat launch fee:$5
If you purchase a boat pass - you will pick up your pass at check in. Electric boats only. No gas motors will be allowed on the lake. Even if the gas engine is bagged, it will not be allowed on the lake.
Fishing License required: All participants age 16+ must have a valid California fishing license.
Parking: Parking fee is waived for participating fishermen only.
Cash Prizes
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age range 0-9, 10-15 and 16+.
Chance to win tagged fish valuing from $100 - $1,000!
You'll have a month to catch the tagged fish. Opportunity ends June 20 at 11:59 p.m.
MUST be registered for the Fishing Derby in order to claim tagged fish prize.
Food will be available for purchase, as well as raffle tickets for great prizes after the weigh-ins!
