THS Alumni, Ringle and Rodriguez.
THS 2022 Alumni Olivia Ringle, swimming for the University of Saint Mary, and Bryce Rodriguez, swimming for Olivet Nazarene University, competed in the 2023 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) from Feb. 2-4.
The event was hosted in Fremont, Nebraska. Ringle and Rodriguez competed against nine Universities and Colleges. Ringle qualified for the finals and placed 10th in the 100-Yard Back with a 1:03.45, 12th in the 200-Yard Back with a 2:20.25 and 13th in the 500-Yard Free with a 5:30.92. Rodriguez qualified for the finals and placed 8th in the 100-Yard Back with a 55.46, 9th in the 200-Yard Back with a 2:02.03 and 12th in the 200-Yard IM with a 2:05.26.
Rodriguez was awarded the KCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Champions of Character. Rodriguez' team won the 2023 KCAC Swimming and Diving Championship for the men's and women's teams.
