What's Up in Stallion Springs?

Want a fun summer job?

Stallion Springs Parks and Recreation announced that they are looking for lifeguards for the pool this summer. Those interested should contact Nicole Ilere at (661) 823-7883. Candidates will need to take the lifeguard certification class offered by TVRPD. The class includes videos, group discussions and hands-on practice. They also teach teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPE/AED. Completion of the course results in a two-year certification in Lifeguarding, professional- level CPR and AED.

The TVRPD three-day certification classes take place March 2 and May 4 and are $150. Re-certification classes begin on March 5 and May 7 and cost $100. For more information, go to the TVRPD website http://www.tvrpd.org.

Stallion Springs CERT

Their next monthly meeting will be held Wednesday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the CSD building, located at 27800 Stallion Springs Dr. Stallion Springs CERT was established in 2003 and is under the guidance of the Stallion Springs Police Department.

The CSD Board monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the CSD building located at 27800 Stallion Springs Dr. The public is invited to attend.
