Frank and Joan Randall Tehachapi Preserve.

Join us for a presentation by Rachel Mason on Jan. 31.

After receiving her education at Michigan Technological University, Rachel Mason started her career as a forester for the Washington State DNR, helping to protect riparian areas.

Then she moved to her home state of Minnesota to practice reforestation for The Nature Conservancy. She has been managing the Frank and Joan Randall Tehachapi Preserve since April 2021.

Rachel’s goals are to protect and enhance the preserve for plants and animals to thrive. Outside of work, Rachel can be found hiking with her family, reading and enjoying local music. Come join us and learn about her important work.

The meeting will be located at Golden Hills Elementary School cafeteria, 20215 Park Rd., in Tehachapi on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. A raffle and refreshments will be included.
