Winners announced in Christmas Window Decorating Contest

Go2Girlz Antiques & Funky Junk, 108 W. Tehachapi Blvd., won first place.
The Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the winners of the Business Christmas Window Contest. The first place winner was Go2Girlz Antiques & Funky Junk, 108 W. Tehachapi Blvd., who decorated their window to look like a miniature of the City of Tehachapi. Second Place winners were Wild Roots Style Co., 106 W. Tehachapi Blvd., and Markos D1 Salon, 113 S. Green St. Wild Roots Style Co. decorated their window with homemade ornaments, garland, gifts and a Santa who had a list of all the good girls and boys. Markos D1 Salon decorated the exterior of their building with garland, trees and a Santa on the roof. Winners recieved a handmade trophy and $100 gift card to PDubs Mountain Bowling, 20800 Santa Lucia St, Tehachapi. Kiya Anderson of the Tehachapi Art Club made the trophies for the winner. A special thank you to Theresa Carlson of Townplace Suites, Claudia Baker of The Loop newspaper and Jessika Davidson of Alta One, who were this year's judges.
