Mojave Elks Chili Cook-off, Nov. 12

October 29, 2022

Beginning Saturday, Nov. 12, Mojave Elks welcome you to our annual weekend of festivities at our Annual Chili Cook-off and contest at the Mojave Elks Lodge, 16200 K Street, Mojave.

That weekend we offer fabulous food, a horseshoes contest, dry camping, even trophies for chili contest winners. Members and their guests (of all ages) are welcome. You are encouraged to enter our Chili Contest and test your cooking skills with other great cooks...and have the opportunity to taste the results.

You can get a chili dinner for $10 (kids $6), or you can get a sampling of ALL the judged chili for $15.

If you wish to see more (and enter the contest), visit: http://www.mojaveelks.com/chili-cook-off-registration/. Deadline for registration is November 11, at 3 p.m.

Make checks payable to: Mojave Elks Lodge #2059, PO Box 3, Mojave CA 93522. Cash also accepted.

Also a cash prize for “Audience Choice” is being offered. Non-competing individuals will be able to vote after tasting each pot of chili!

Chili may be without or with beans to be eligible for prizes. Proceeds go to the Purple Pig program to support our kids.

Camping (dry) spots will be available for RVs at Mojave Elks Trap Range off Highway 58.
