More in store besides apples and fun at the Apple Festival, Oct. 15-16

Apple Festival

October 1, 2022

The Apple Festival is excited to partner with the Make-A-Wish® Northeastern/Central California and Northern Nevada Chapter to grant the South Valley Region's 1,000th wish. This is a first for the festival and it gives us great joy to be able to support such a worthy organization and a local Tehachapi youth. The fun begins at 10 a.m. and we highly encourage the community to come out in support of a fabulous 11-year-old who turned 11 on the 11th of October and was born in 2011. This is his wish, but YOU can make it even more incredible if you are there when we open to greet Logan.

So, Saturday has vendors, food, drinks, music, kids' games, races, bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo, puppet shows and more. There is also the pie eating contest at 1 p.m. and the Apple Drop at 4 p.m. Beer will be available from Westlane Brewery and wine from Tehachapi Winery. There will be sliced apple pie in Centennial Plaza and that's where you'll find the live music all day.

On Sunday we have the same fun as the day before, as well as, the pie baking contest at 1 p.m. and the Vintage Trailer Show all day. Of course, the beer, wine and music will be going all day, too.

Join us for a family fun day at the Apple Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16. Visit our website at http://www.tehachapiapplefestival.com for more info.
