What's Up in Stallion Springs?

At the Color Run finish line.

The annual Stallion Springs Color Run was held on May 24. Over 50 runners participated leaving the starting line dressed in white and crossing the finish covered in blue, red and orange chalk. The Stallion Springs Police Department provided traffic control and security for the event.

Parks and Recreation Upcoming events

The pool is scheduled to open June 13.

Yoga - Mondays 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Fit Fridays 9:30 a.m.

New Zumba class Mondays 7 p.m.

Judo Monday and Wednesday 6 p.m.

Spring Break Activities to include: Monday: Rock painting. Wednesday: Sidewalk chalk. Friday: Bring a kite to fly, skating and craft.

The play room is now ready for kids to play, build and color.

Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Toddler Meet Up for 5 and under to come and play and make friends.

Story Time at the library the third Friday of the month at 10 a.m.

Police Report

Chief Gary Crowell filed a report of statistics for April 2022. The Department had nine arrests, issued six citations, had 94 reports, 89 calls for service, completed 22 officer initiated investigations, 32 field interviews and three medical assists. There were eight vacation house checks and the department assisted other enforcement agencies 13 times.

Field Staff Report

The staff re-plumbed the pressure tank for tank 7 and abandoned the old line. The repairs are complete.

The east lift station pump was clogged and had to be pulled. It was plugged with rags and other items that residents should not be flushing down the toilets. It was reinstalled.

They built concrete form for the emergency generator that is scheduled to be installed on June 15.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the CSD Boardroom. The next meeting is scheduled for June 21.
