St. Jude's Church to offer special services for Holy Week

April 10-17 is Holy Week and St. Jude’s in the Mountains Anglican Church, 1200 S. Curry St., has several special services planned to bless those who would like to have a most meaningful Easter. Palm Sunday is on April 10 and there will be a special Communion service at 10 a.m. For Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Last Supper of Christ, there will be a Communion service at 7 p.m. After that service, there will be a Prayer Vigil that will last through the night until noon on Good Friday. Good Friday services, to include the Stations of the Cross, commemorating the suffering and death of Christ for the sins of the world, will be at noon and at 7 p.m. On Saturday night, April 16, the Great Vigil of Easter will be held with a special Communion service at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday service will include a Baptism and it will begin at 10 a.m. After the Easter service there will be an Easter egg hunt for children.
