Warriors swim team places 2nd at the Taft Wildcat Invitational

On March 19, the Lady Warriors opened up the meet by placing 1st in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (Olivia Ringle, Alaina Riggs, Regan Rodriguez and Hanna Regan). The boys placed 2nd in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (Carter Yeomen, Tyler Regan, Bryce Rodriguez & Iven Sandholdt).
The following Lady Warriors placed in the top 3:
1. Alaina Riggs 2nd; 200 Yard Free and 2nd; 500 Yard Free.
2. Olivia Ringle 3rd; 200 Yard IM.
3. Hanna Regan 1st; 100 Yard Free; 2nd; 50 Yard Free.
4. Regan Rodriguez 1st; 100 Yard Breast.
5. Grace Keller 3rd; 500 Yard Free.
The following Male Warriors placed in the top 3:
1. Tyler Regan 2nd; 500 Yard Free.
2. Bryce Rodriguez 2nd; 200 Yard IM, 3rd 100 Yard Fly.
3. Carter Yeomen 2nd; 100 Yard Free, 3rd 100 Yard Back.
4. Iven Sandholdt 3rd; 50 Yard Free.
The Lady Warriors placed an impressive 2nd place in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay giving them an automatic to CIF Division 1 (Hanna Regan, Olivia Ringle, Regan Rodriguez and Alaina Riggs). The Boys placed 2nd as well in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (Carter Yeomen, Iven Sandholdt, Bryce Rodriguez and Tyler Regan).
Earlier in the week the Water Warriors defeated Independence High School and defeated West High School last week. Currently the team is 2-0 in league. Next week the Warriors will be competing against Taft Union High School.
