The California City Friends of the Library will have a Great Book Exchange on Saturday, March 12 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Cal City Branch of the Kern County Library.
The workroom at the library is full and the Friends cannot take in any more books until we clean out a lot. So, we had an idea to just exchange books. We know that with the library closed for the past couple of years, we have been buying books instead of checking them out of the library, so come and exchange your books for some you have not read. Or, just come and take some books. Unlike a regular Friends Book Sale there are no prices on these books. Although we will accept cash donations if you insist.
