Classes at Tehachapi Arts Center

New artists

We’re proud to bring you a number of new artists joining us here at the Tehachapi Arts Center. Liz Ortiz offers her unique jewelry of semi-precious stones and gemstones in sterling silver settings. Danielle Moran features beautiful and creative crochet items. You’ll love the avocado dolls. Letha Harris is bringing the 70s back with her stylish macrame wall hangings and of course plant holders. Lastly Which Craft a coven of five local artists who create fabric artwork among other things. For those interested, they meet at Kamenz Kafe (formally the Coffee Mill) every Saturday at 11 a.m. Look for a group of women with pointy hats.

Classes

This Saturday, February 19 is our Paint Night with Lucinda at 5:30 p.m. and Cathy’s Butterfly & Dragonfly class at 1 p.m. We are continuing with our Children’s Classes with Grayson every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.


Coming next month

March Paint Night is Saturday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, March 26 will be Cathy’s Copper Bookmark Class at 1 p.m.

Don’t forget First Friday is on March 4.

Please note there is a fee for all our classes and some of them fill up quickly. If there is one that you wish to attend please sign up early.

The Tehachapi Arts Center is a cooperative continuing the heritage of Mel White’s Treasure Trove providing a venue for local artisans to gather, learn, teach and of course display and sell their art.
