Tehachapi Arts Center closed for remodeling

January 8, 2022

Along with the reopening on Jan. 17 we are excited to announce our paint night on Jan. 22.

For the first time, we are offering the subject portrait as a pair. So, bring a friend and you can each create half of a matching set.

Also, our weekly children’s classes will resume on Wednesdays starting Jan. 19.

There will be more classes and events scheduled for February.

The Tehachapi Arts Center is looking for people to join our co-op as well as new vendors.

Would you like to teach a class? We have the space and supplies.

Is there a class you would like to attend? We have experienced local artists to teach them.

Come on in to see our newly remodeled store, or visit us on Facebook or Instagram, or give us a call at (661) 822-6794

The Tehachapi Arts Center is a cooperative continuing the heritage of Mel White’s Treasure Trove, providing a venue for local artisans to gather, learn, teach and, of course, display and sell their art.

We are located at 116 E. Tehachapi Blvd. – across the street from the water tower. We are open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
