Torch Run completed.
Stallion Springs Police Department hosted the first 2021 Torch Run in Kern County. There was a great turnout of supporters, donors, law enforcement, community members and athletes. The team raised over $650 for local athletes. Representatives from the Special Olympics came to Stallion Springs for the torch run from the Community Center to the iconic SS covered bridge.
The SSPD received a lot of support from people gathered with signs along Stallion Springs Drive to the bridge supporting them and cheering them on as they ran the torch down the road.
Several donations of $25 or more were received and t-shirts were available. All the donations or proceeds went to the Special Olympics.

The Stallion Springs Parks and Recreation team would like to send a warm thank you to all who helped make our Oktoberfest a big success. Thank you to Steve Olson and his family for sharing your talent and for donating your time and profits to our Parks programs. We know how hard you worked and we appreciate it so much! Thank you to Advanced Beverage Company, PDubs Grille and Bar, Kenny Harrison, Kohnen's Bakery, Stallion Springs General Store, Hemme Hay, Tangleweed Farms, Stallion Springs CERT, KCSO, Kern County Sheriff's CSU, Waste Management, Stallion Springs Church, Aviation ROTC, Stallion Springs CSU, Bear Valley Police Department and all of our volunteers for all your time, hard work and donations! We truly could not have done it without you all. This is our one and only big fundraiser for much needed park equipment. We are so thankful for all of you and your support. It truly means so much.
Parks and Rec
Free Pickle Ball in the gym, Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 6 p.m. and on Saturdays at 9 a.m. All levels are welcome. Come join the fun.
Open gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
New to Stallion Springs
Did you know we have CC&Rs (conditions, covenants and reservations) in our community? The CC&Rs are to preserve and enhance property values and maintain the rural residential character of the area. A few examples are having paint samples, fencing, building and outdoor structures approved. We protect our oaks and you must get approval for the removal of any oak trees on your property.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors
The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m., normally in the CSD Boardroom or at the Community Center, subject to Covid restrictions. The next meeting will be held on Nov. 16.
