Walter Eugene Parson was born Oct. 19, 1927, to Walter and Delia Parson in Manchester, Connecticut.
He was one of three siblings (Clarence G. Jeffers and Delia Parson). He moved to California and married Joyce Willis in 1957. Together they moved to Tehachapi in the early '90s. Joyce died in 2009. Walter continued his passion for organ playing, painting, tending to his pellet stove and laughing with his great-grandson every day. He passed away at home in the early morning of Oct. 13.
