Third Annual “Ghoulden” Hills

Trick or Treat

October 23 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Get your costumes on and come out to the Golden Hills CSD, 21415 Reeves St., for the 3rd annual “Ghoulden” Hills Trick or Treat event for a good time and good music. Trick or treat bags will be passed out at the entrance. There is no charge for this event and it is open to all Tehachapi children!

Halloween Costume Contest at the Tehachapi Branch Library

October 29 at 4 p.m.

Wear your best Halloween costume for a chance to win a Walmart gift card. Costumes will be judged by age. The categories are 0-5 years, 6-11 years and 12-17 years. All participants will receive a bag of treats. See you in the courtyard on October 29, at 212 S. Green St.

Witch/Warlock Costume Contest at Gallery ‘N’ Gifts

October 29 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Dress up as your best witch/warlock and join us at Gallery ‘N’ Gifts for refreshments and a chance to win one of the three prizes. Gallery ‘N’ Gifts is located at 100 W. Tehachapi Blvd. (661) 822-6062.

Tehachapi Haunted House and Maze

October 29-31 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Located at the new gym, Tehachapi Strength, 20681 Valley Blvd. (behind Frosty King). To volunteer contact Stephanie at TehachapiHauntedHouse@gmail.com. The event is free to the community but donations will be accepted that will go to the Cornerstone Center for Counseling and Discipleship.

Tehachapi Trunk or Treat

Hosted by the Tehachapi Police Foundation

October 31 from 5 to 7 p.m., on F Street (from Curry to Robinson Streets).

New this year, we will have a “Little Goblin” area for kids five and under. If you are interested in having your vehicle at the event, register online until noon on Oct. 31: form.jotform.com/TPDfoundation/trunkortreat.

Candy donations can be dropped off at Tehachapi Police Station, City Hall, Bank of the Sierra and Keller Williams Realty.

Second Annual Downtown Candy Walk

October 31 from 4 to 7 p.m., Tehachapi Blvd. (between Curry and Robinson Streets).

Come join us for the Downtown Candy Walk fun event for children in costume to safely visit participating businesses.

Start at Go2Girlz Antique Boutique, 211 S. Curry St ,. to take a family photo, pick up candy and get your map.

If you’re interested in donating candy to the local businesses, it can be dropped at Funky Junk, 108 W. Tehachapi Blvd., Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
