At the Oct. 6 Greater Tehachapi Economic Development Council meeting, Fr. Wes Clare of St. Jude’s in the Mountains Anglican Church announced that the church parking lot on Pinon St. across from Tompkins Elementary School is available for parents to use as a drop-off and pick-up location when bringing children to school or picking them up after school.

Fr. Clare said that the church is providing coffee for parents in the morning and juice and snacks for the kids waiting to be picked up after school.
