40 Days for Life campaign

This year Saint Malachy Catholic Church is spearheading the 40 Days for Life Campaign in Tehachapi commencing on Sept. 22 through Oct. 31. 40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and peaceful all-day vigils in front of abortion businesses. It is designed to be a peaceful and educational endeavor.
The Witness to Life group, which is organizing the 40 Days for Life Campaign, started at Saint Malachy Catholic Church in the spring of 2021 and is inter-faith. The Witness to Life group invites any and all interested parties to attend the planning meeting on September 14 at 2 p.m. at McMullan Hall on the Saint Malachy campus, 407 West E Street, Tehachapi.
The group encourages all churches in Tehachapi to participate in the campaign in whatever way they desire.
