“No parent ever imagines having to deal with this. Nor should we ever have to. Everything has changed forever in an instant.”

Those words were spoken by my sweet friend, Lindsey Bold Hoffman, after two of her precious daughters, Maggie and Ollie, left this earth due to a car collision on July 22. Lainie survived the car accident and has been, “fighting hard to get on the mend after multiple surgeries and intense recovery.”

My heart continues to break for this sweet family, whom we have known for eight years. Words fail to express the shock, grief and sadness that we all are feeling.

Lindsey is our wedding venue florist and part of our Dorner Winery family. Her three precious girls, Maggie, Lainie and Ollie would often accompany Lindsey on wedding days to help out. Mike and I have watched these three “littles” grow from tiny precious little people into beautiful young women. Their loss is still inconceivable to us.

Dorner Family Vineyard is honored to be able to host a Fundraising Weekend at our winery for this incredible family. Raffle tickets will be on sale starting on Friday, Aug. 20, for a chance to win one of the beautiful items donated by our winery artisan vendors. Monetary donations will gladly be accepted any time between now and the Fundraising Weekend with one hundred percent of all monetary donations, raffle tickets and tasting room proceeds from this weekend going directly to Lindsey to help offset the costs she is incurring.
