TehachaPod breaks into top 100 Government Podcasts

The City of Tehachapi's podcast TehachaPod has entered its second season of producing locally driven show topics. With 57 episodes released TehachaPod broke through the top 100 Apple Government Podcasts for the second time climbing to No. 45 on February 17.
On that day, TehachaPod released an episode featuring the Tehachapi Unified School District Superintendent. The topic: the challenges faced by the school district to get kids back into the classroom. More than 650 downloads occurred overnight, launching TehachaPod into the Top 50 Government Podcasts for the first time. There are thousands of government podcasts that Apple charts including our United Stated Military branches, the F.B.I., along with several federal and state agencies across the country.
"The stay in that position lasted a very short time but we can say we cracked the top 50. We enjoy having conversations with people to bring information to our community," said Key Budge with the City of Tehachapi. The latest episode features CalOES representatives talking about the new Earthquake Early Warning App – My Shake.
TehachaPod is available on all podcasting platforms free of charge and is the official podcast for the City of Tehachapi.
