Due to the snowfall in the Tehachapi area during the week of January 25, and potential travel restrictions on Highway 58, the BBQ at Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley hosted by Stockdale Tile owner Tony Marion has been postponed by one week to February 3.

The BBQ is for all employees at the Adventist Hospital located at 1100 Magellan Dr., Tehachapi.

This is a way to thank and show appreciation to medical personnel for their hard work and dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the summer, Marion also provided food for some of the Bakersfield hospitals as well.

Local Tehachapi restaurant P-Dubs will be providing the food and local bakery TehachaPie will be providing pies for dessert. There will be two servings that day, 11 a.m. for the day shift employees and 6 p.m. for the night shift employees.

Marion feels passionate about giving back to the community. The BBQ is a small token of his appreciation for the dedication of the Adventist Hospital Tehachapi Valley health personnel.
