Caltrans to offer webinars for contractors

The California Department of Transportation has partnered with local agencies to offer webinars on a variety of topics, including estimation, bonding, labor compliance and a virtual Caltrans Contractors’ Bootcamp. A few key dates are below.
• January 19 – Bonding Webinar by Kiewit
• February 9-10 – Caltrans Contractor’s Bootcamp (2-day webinar)
The Bonding webinar by Kiewit Construction, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on January 19, will feature District 10 Director Dennis Agar and will focus on Kiewit Construction’s bonding assistance program and working with them as a local partner. Finally, the two-day Caltrans Contractor’s Bootcamp, from February 9-10 at 8:30 a.m. to noon, will begin with remarks from Caltrans Director Toks Omishakin. Participants will meet the primes, and learn about bonding, estimating and labor compliance.
