The Loop staff
Mayor Susan Wiggins chose the award-winning business. Representing K.M. Payton Trucking located at 118 S. Robinson St. were Betina Martin, Ashley Lewin, Joshua and Eric.
The winners of The City of Tehachapi and The Loop newspaper's holiday decorating contest were presented plaques, each featuring a photo of their winning home.

The District 1 winner was Andrew Cortez and Nancy Valle's home located at 219 N. Green St. The winner was chosen by newly appointed Tehachapi City Mayor Phil Smith.
The contestants were very competitive and the judges all said that it was obvious a lot of thought went into designing the displays. Many included homemade elements while others went for the "wow" factor making the decisions even harder. Congratulations to all the winners!
