The Stallion Springs Community really came together for the first Trails Maintenance day we've had in a few years. It was a great turnout and a beautiful day and we were able to clear so much terrain in a short amount if time. General Manager Vanessa Stevens said, "Our trails in this community are an asset that we do not want to lose and it made me so proud to see everyone working together. Thank you to all that attended. The team was amazing and we are looking forward to our next trails meetup. New SSCERT Lead
David Cox has been appointed the new Stallion Springs CERT Leader. Welcome Dave in his new role and responsibilities.
Outgoing CERT leader, Dominique Dieken said, "It is with heavy heart that my wife, Korinna, and I are leaving Tehachapi and moving to southwestern Utah. The time has therefore come for me to step down as SSCERT Lead Chair and board member. The Board of Directors met and appointed my successor, Dave Cox. Dave has shown his unconditional commitment to SSCERT, the community of Stallion Springs and beyond and I support his appointment wholeheartedly. Change is inevitable and those who move on are opening opportunities for others to step up, bring their ideas to the table, and take on new responsibilities. I encourage each of you to participate and step up to the plate. Unlike a job where individuals are motivated by a paycheck, an all-volunteer organization's success is solely ensured by each and every member's conviction that they are making a difference. Started locally, making a difference can ultimately make the world a better place. SSCERT's strength and successes did not come from any one individual, but from each of us contributing our skills and commitments for the greater good. This is how SSCERT grew from humble beginnings in 2003 to one of Kern County's premier CERTs. I am proud to have been a part of this and have full confidence in Dave's ability to lead this great team into the future. I would like to thank all of our members past and present for their loyalty, our past leadership for their guidance, as well as the Stallion Springs Police Department and the Stallion Springs Community Service District for their unwavering support over nearly two decades."
Property Owners Association
The POA will be hosting a contest for the top outdoor decorations for the holiday season. Decorate your home to represent your holiday. There will be three different prizes, which will include donated prizes from your favorite local businesses and from the POA. We are forming a judging panel and judging will be on December 12.

Police Report
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 and specify to the dispatcher that you live in Stallion Springs. The Stallion Springs Police Department is dispatched through the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
For non-life-threatening issues, please call (661) 861-3110. You may contact us by email or using the contact information provided on the CSD website http://www.stallionspringscsd.com. If you wish to make an appointment to speak with an officer, contact the CSD at (661) 822-3268. Appointments maybe canceled at any time due to limited police staffing.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors
The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. normally in the CSD Boardroom. The meeting for December will be canceled as is customary unless a major subject needs attention. The next meeting will be held January 19 at 6 p.m. in the CSD Board room or at the Community Center subject to the restrictions created by the Coronavirus.
