There is no doubt that 2020 has been one heck of a year.  For some there has been tragic loss of life or income.  For others, it has just been a major pain in the you-know-what.  No one seems to know what is happening from day to day let alone what will be going on next month.

One thing we do know is that the holiday season is quickly approaching and that some still are not comfortable with going out and shopping amongst the masses.  Online shopping seems to be a hit-or-miss proposition, what with long delivery times and packages being misdelivered.  Tehachapi Natural Market is prepared to help you with all those issues.

Owners Teresa Dunlop and Sarah Rose have come up with several ideas to make shopping for the holidays safer, easier and fun.

"For our customers who have concerns about being in crowds, we have decided to host private shopping events," Sarah said. "All a customer needs to do is give us a call to set up an appointment and we will be happy to come in early or stay late and allow them to do their shopping.  The juice bar won't be available but everything else will.  We are ready to start private shopping immediately."

Along with hosting private holiday shopping the market will provide free gift wrapping for items purchased with them. They will also have special times set aside on the weekends in December where they will be offering gift wrapping services of items purchased elsewhere for a fee.

"We haven't decided on exact dates or times yet but we will be doing that soon," Teresa said. "We just want to get the word out early for those who hate gift wrapping or just don't have time."

What kind of items do they have at the market that would make a great gift?

"We have over 20 local vendor items and crafts in the store," Sarah tells us. "We have hand crafted soaps, body and bath products, candles, jewelry, pottery, wood and tin signs, local honey from Mullenax Ranch and apple products from Ha's Apple Farm." Sarah takes a deep breath and continues, "We have African crafted baskets, crystals, metal sculptures and wind chimes, tie dyed and ice dyed garments. And, of course, we have gift cards for those really hard to buy for friends and family members!"

Over the next few weeks, the talented folks at the market are going to be building gift baskets made up of the wonderful items in the store and putting one price point on the whole basket.

"That way, a customer can tell us their budget and we can quickly show them what they can get for that amount," Sarah said. "We can also build customizable baskets."

Head on over to Tehachapi Natural Market at 20221 W. Valley Blvd., or give them a call at (661) 823-4087 and they will help you take the stress out of holiday shopping.
