Book signing at Dorner Family Vineyard

Bear Valley Springs resident Todd Lander announced that he will be signing copies of his new book, “Bound by War: A Memoir of love, friendship and survival,” at Dorner Family Vineyard on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 1 to 5 p.m. The book recounts some of the author’s memories of the Vietnam war and includes redacted letters he wrote home to his new bride, as well as declassified after-action reports on some of the battles he was involved in. This is a heart-wrenching account of the horrors of war, the power of young love and a young man’s overwhelming desire to survive.
