Jacob Doyle Taylor June 3, 1989 – Aug. 23, 2020

Jacob Doyle Taylor, 31, of Tehachapi, California, passed away on Aug. 23, 2020. He was born on June 3, 1989 in Bakersfield, California to Sheri and J.D. Taylor.

Jake grew up in Tehachapi. He was a Warrior of Tehachapi High School and played on both the J.V. and Varsity teams. After graduating, he focused on his music. Jake taught himself how to play the guitar; he was a natural talent.

Preceded in passing by his beloved grandmother, Karen Bassler. Jake is survived by his dear son, Gavin Taylor; parents, Sheri and J.D. Taylor; sister, Ashley Gonzalez (Adrian); niece, Harlie Gonzalez; nephew, Kruze Gonzalez; and many lifelong friends.
