Modern Homesteading Skills Workshop, May 2

Join us for this full day of classes on old time skills that are valuable in modern times. This workshop includes all four classes, a light lunch, tasting of all foods demonstrated, recipes and take homes.

Taste and learn how to make everything below:

Fermented Segment: Kefir, Kombucha, Fermented Veggies and Sourdough Bread.

Dairy Segment: Soft and Hard Cheeses, Butter and Whipped Cream, Lunch and Yoga Chair Stretch.

Raw Foods Segment: Preparing and Sprouting of Raw Foods and Water Bath Canning (Tomato Jam).

Old Time Skills Segment: Cast Iron Skillet Cooking (cinnamon rolls) and Care and making Goats Milk Soap.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 2 at the Tehachapi Community Church, 100 E. E St. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $100 each. No children under 13 years.
