City of Tehachapi officials hired tree companies to clear city streets and sidewalks even before the snow stopped falling on Dec. 26. Dozens and dozens of trees on city parkways and in many yards were victim to the nearly 14 hours of continues very wet snowfall.

Reminding us of snowstorms of years past, the storm on Dec. 26 dropped about 12 inches of snow throughout the Tehachapi area.
