The eclectic boutique intriguingly named Twisted Sisters Revival! has recently changed ownership. The new owner, Merry Hineline, purchased the shop in April 2019 and re-opened the doors in June 2019.

Merry was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Los Angeles and San Diego. She relocated to Bear Valley Springs with her husband and dogs 3.5 years ago when her husband became employed with CalSpan, a test pilot school which operates at Edwards Air Force Base. In getting to know her new community, she became fond of shopping at Twisted Sisters Revival Boutique. She enjoyed the designer and vintage inventory and chatting with other customers. When the business came up for sale, she embarked on a bold new adventure, one of many in her varied careers.

Merry's goal in her new venture with the store is to expand the clothing and shoe lines to embrace all demographics. She features designer apparel, including vintage, new and gently used. Merry has enlarged the clothing line to incorporate items in all sizes, appealing to all ages and for all occasions. This includes formal wear, cocktail, weddings and sports wear, including leggings, capris and shirts. The store abounds in shoes and boots of all types, from designers like Manolo Blanik and Prada. Other products featured in the store are high end handbags by designers like Kate Spade, Coach, Dooney & Bourke and Christian Dior, jewelry and specialty soaps made by Jackie's Bubbles. Twisted Sisters is the only brick and mortar venue in which Jackie's Bubbles soaps are sold. In the near future, Merry also plans on amplifying the jewelry inventory to include sterling silver jewelry with gemstones.

Outside the store three mannequins of different sizes are dressed in different outfits daily, each with a different look, from formal to business to casual. Photos are posted to their Facebook page of these mannequins with the price range of the outfits.

From an inspection of the products available crises, such as last minute Homecoming or Prom outfits, are easily solved. This store can truly provide your one stop shopping!

Merry visits San Diego monthly to purchase inventory for the store. Currently, store hours are Tuesdays through Fridays, 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The store is located at 20300 Valley Blvd., Ste. F. in Tehachapi. The large colorful sign for the store can be viewed at the corner of Santa Lucia and Valley Blvd.
